COMPLETION EXPECTED LATE 2012—
AVAILABLE FOR RENTING 2013

Lerigoligan, when renovations are completed, will retain its charm and character but with greater comfort and space.

It will still have 4 bedrooms, sitting room, large kitchen dining room and sun porch. There will also be a new conservatory area, a third shower room, and a utility room.

All the public areas, and the new bedrooms, will have views of Loch Craignish.

See new Floor Plans and News pages.

The traditionally-built croft house and extension will be heated by solar panels, an air source heat pump and underfloor heating, but there will still be an open fire, plus a new wood-burning stove in the kitchen. Logs are provided.

For a six-monthly progress update, give us your contact details.

a west highland retreat

DESCRIPTION

Click here for details of how the cottage was previously.

100 miles from Glasgow, 20 miles south of Oban, 300 metres up a steep track, Lerigoligan is set in its own hillside plot, far from busy roads, a place where children can safely roam free.

Half a mile away, the village of Ardfern has moorings, a Yacht Centre and is a good base for exploring the West Coast. It also has a village shop, a pub/restaurant and a café. Local meat and sea-food are available.

The area has a host of activities for all weathers. Good walks in the Craignish Peninsula straight from the house. Birds galore including ravens, buzzards, sea-birds and many small garden birds.

In a separate building, the ‘Bothy’, a studio space is available at certain times of year for visitors to run residential workshops (music, yoga, meditation, painting, crafts etc). It contains a further 2-person bunk room plus shower and toilet.
